Terrific Text Types - Presentation
This presentation is a simple way to introduce basic text types to Foundation students. It explores the differences between real and make-believe before introducing the terms fiction and non-fiction. The presentation teaches students that texts can take many forms and serve different purposes. You can refer to this presentation any time you are looking at narratives, poetry, information reports, recounts, persuasive texts etc.
Whole class introduction to Text Types. Students are encouraged to turn and talk about the different text types. Teachers can use any of the text type slides as a reference when teaching students to write a particular text type.

Learning goals
- We are learning to understand texts can be in many forms such as signs, books and digital texts.
