Real and Make-believe Cards
A card sorting activity that will assist students when learning to identify the difference between what might be real and what is imagined.
These cards can be used as a whole class, small group or individual activity to sort into real or make-believe categories.
Learning goals
- We are learning to understand texts can be in many forms and that stories and informative texts have different purposes.
- We are learning to identify some differences between imaginative and informative texts, i.e. what is real or imaginary.
- We are learning to understand texts can be in many forms such as signs, books and digital texts.
