Thatโs a Fact!
This worksheet encourages students to explore the difference between facts, opinions and untrue statements as they are required to write only true facts about each picture.
As a class, go through what each of the images are. Discuss the difference between fact, opinion and untrue statements. Use the first image as an example before students complete the rest of the sheet independently.
Learning goals
- We are learning to describe some similarities and differences between imaginative, informative and persuasive texts.
- We are learning to recognise that texts serve different purposes and they each have different features.
