Happy Days Game

The Happy Days Game was designed for Foundation and Year 1 students to learn the order of the days of the week. They are introduced to vocabulary including "yesterday" and "tomorrow" as they move around the board identifying the correct days of the week.

Learning goals

  • We are learning to sequence days of the week and times of the day and connect them to familiar events and actions, e.g. connecting breakfast to morning.
  • We are learning to explain the order and duration of events.
  • We are learning to connect events to the days of the week.
  • We are learning to describe the duration and sequence of events using years, months, weeks, days and hours.
  • We are learning to explain time durations using months, weeks and days.
