Fraction Bingo - quarters half and whole
In 'Fraction Bingo - quarters half and whole' students will recognise a visual representation of a fraction as being one-quarter, one-half or one-whole. This game has been designed to allow you to photograph student answers as a record of assessment.
Learning goals
- We are learning to recognise halves, quarters and eighths of an object and to understand that a group of objects can be separated to show halves, quarters and eighths of the group.
- We are learning to recognise halves, quarters and eighths of a whole and connect halves, quarters and eighths through repeated halving.
- We are learning to use halves, quarters and eighths in relation to shapes, objects and events in everyday situations, e.g. cutting a pizza, cup and spoon measures.
