Break It Down and Mix It Up!
This worksheet has been created to assess where students are in their understanding of phonemic awareness. Students are required to break words up according to their phonemes, as well as use substitution and deletion, to make new words. This resource is part of the unit of work for Year 2- Blending and Segmenting.
Can be used as a pre-assessment, assessment for learning, formative assessment.
