Spin a Silly Sentence
These ‘Spin a Silly Sentence’ worksheets are sure to be a favourite activity for your students when learning about decoding strategies. Using the spinners, students will match the icons to the sentence starter and ending before reading the complete sentence out loud. They are part of our larger ‘Decoding Detectives’ unit.
These sheets can be printed onto coloured paper and used in write and wipe sleeves with whiteboard markers or counters as a reusable literacy rotation or fast finisher activity.
