Narrative Writing Assessment Rubric

If you are looking for a comprehensive way to assess and analyse your students’ narrative writing, then this rubric is for you. The rubric aligns with the Australian curriculum and uses the 6 Traits of Writing to help you identify your student’s skills.

Print one rubric per student. They can be used for multiple pieces of writing – simply colour code each piece of writing and use a different coloured highlighter to track their growth throughout the year.
