This resource has been designed to assess students’ understanding of multiples and factors. It contains formative assessment ‘exit tickets’, to use at the end of each concept taught throughout the unit. It then contains a summative assessment, containing 8 questions. This resource is part of the Strategic Spelling Unit Plan.

Learning goals

  • We are learning to express numbers as products of their factors, identify multiples and apply divisibility rules to large numbers.
  • We are learning to create and use algorithms using multiple steps to experiment with factors, multiples and divisibility and identify and describe emerging patterns.
  • We are learning to identify and describe factors and multiples of whole numbers and use them to solve problems.
