This worksheet introduces students to using quotes as evidence in persuasive writing. Students read simple excerpts from Yahoo Creek: An Australian Mystery and match them to claims. They then practise embedding one quote into a sentence to support their opinion. An optional source comparison task encourages early critical thinking about who is telling the story and why.
