Tooth Chart

This chart was designed for our member, Deb, to record the number of teeth that fall out in her Lower Primary class. She intends to use this chart to create an ongoing graph throughout the school year.

Learning goals

  • We are learning to collect, sort and compare data displayed in various ways to answer yes/no questions.
  • We are learning to answer yes/no questions to collect information and make simple inferences.
  • We are learning to record, compare and discuss data and create one-to-one displays.
  • We are learning to draw simple data displays and make simple inferences.
  • We are learning to represent and compare data displayed in various graphs, e.g. lists, tally charts, column graphs, picture graphs.
  • We are learning to create displays of data using lists, table and picture graphs and interpret them.
  • We are learning to create, compare and interpret data displayed in various graphs, including using software, e.g. lists, tables and infographics.
  • We are learning to collect and organise data and create graphs, tables and lists.
