Recount Assessment
This recount assessment includes blank space for students to write their own personal recount and draw an accompanying picture. It includes a teacher checklist for teachers to assess the students’ ability to include all components of the recount structure.
This template can be used as a pre- and post-assessment during your Recount Unit.
Learning goals
- We are learning to identify that texts serve different purposes and that this affects how they are organised.
- We are learning to recognise that texts have different features and purposes, e.g. recount, narrate, express opinion, inform, report and explain.
