Prefix - What does it mean?
In this worksheet, students are required to identify prefixes that have been added to base and root words. Once they have identified the prefix, they are asked to use a dictionary to find the meanings of the prefixes. This worksheet could be used as an explicit teaching activity, independent activity during literacy rotations or a guided language group. This resource is part of the Year 5 Strategic Spelling Unit Plan.
