Planet Patterns

Planet Patterns

This fun worksheet gives students the opportunity to demonstrate their understanding of pattern cores as well as their ability to create patterns using basic cores. The spinner adds an element of fun and ensures that no two worksheets end up looking the same. There are 2 levels to choose from.

Students will use a pencil and paper clip to spin the pattern core spinner. Once they label which pattern core they are doing, students will create their own pattern to demonstrate that core. This sheet could also easily be used as an assessment piece.
