Peg out the Pattern

Peg out the Pattern

This activity is the perfect hands-on activity to add to your maths rotations or maths discovery centres for students to practise making patterns while also working on their fine motor skills. Students can also colour in the matching worksheet to demonstrate the patterns they can make.

Set up a small washing line for your students to peg the washing cards onto. They can use the pattern core cards for inspiration or create their own pattern.
