Multiplication Puzzle 9x
This series of puzzles works through the 9x Times tables, getting students to match the equation, the answer and a colourful array.
Great for consolidating this table for those who might be struggling.
Learning goals
- We are learning to recognise and explain the connection between multiplication and division as inverse operations and use this to develop families of number facts.
- We are learning to recall multiplication facts up to 10 x 10 and related division facts, developing efficient mental strategies.
- We are learning to recall multiplication facts for 3, 4, 5 and 10 and apply this to related division facts.
- We are learning to recall multiplication facts for twos and apply to related division facts using doubling and halving.
