Multiplication and Division Mat

Multiplication and Division Mat

Use this handy resource when teaching about multiplication and division in your classroom.
The mat asks students to:

  • Write the number sentence
  • Draw an accompanying array
  • Represent the number sentence as equal groups (to assist when completing the rest of the fact family)
  • Record the multiples as skip counting (using the equal groups visual to assist!)
  • Write the turnaround fact
  • Write the related division facts (to complete the fact family!)
  • Write a word problem to reflect the number sentence.

This resource is fantastic to use for numeracy rotations, a warmup activity or a fast finisher.

Available in Colour and  B & W for convenience. It can be laminated for repeated use or printed and reproduced for lessons.
