Multiplication and Division Mat
Use this handy resource when teaching about multiplication and division in your classroom.
The mat asks students to:
- Write the number sentence
- Draw an accompanying array
- Represent the number sentence as equal groups (to assist when completing the rest of the fact family)
- Record the multiples as skip counting (using the equal groups visual to assist!)
- Write the turnaround fact
- Write the related division facts (to complete the fact family!)
- Write a word problem to reflect the number sentence.
This resource is fantastic to use for numeracy rotations, a warmup activity or a fast finisher.
Available in Colour and B & W for convenience. It can be laminated for repeated use or printed and reproduced for lessons.
