The Elapsed Time Presentation introduces the concept of calculating elapsed time to students and allows the teacher to walk through visual examples with the class.

Learning goals
- We are learning to use ‘am’ and ‘pm’ notation and solve simple time problems including duration and converting between units of time e.g. 60 mins = 1 hour.
- We are learning to use ‘am’ and ‘pm’ notation and solve simple time problems, e.g. calculating time spent at school, time spent travelling between two locations, determining arrival time with given departure time.
- We are learning to estimate and compare the duration of events using days, hours, minutes and seconds.
