Bridge Back Through Ten- Level 3
This colourful game provides opportunities for students to practice the Bridge Back Through Ten or Use Ten strategy. It is a 1-page, low preparation game that is fantastic for fast finishers or group work. It is one of three levels that has been created to allow for differentiation, while teaching the one concept.
It was designed for Year 2 but could be used in the Year 1, for extension or Year 3, for consolidation.
Fast finisher, numeracy rotations, laminate for multiple usage.
Learning goals
- We are learning to solve problems involving modelling addition, subtraction, equal sharing and grouping, using different strategies.
- We are learning to recall addition facts to 20 and apply to related subtraction facts using a range of strategies.
- We are learning to use a range of mental and written strategies to solve simple addition and subtraction problems.
