Blending and Segmenting - Presentation
This presentation takes students through the strategies of blending and segmenting. It begins by introducing students to blending and how it can be used to increase fluency in reading. Students are then walked through segmenting and how it can be used as a writing and spelling strategy; breaking words into sounds and syllables to assists them with their spelling. This resource is part of a larger unit of work Blending and Segmenting- Year 3.
