A Timeline of Me
This simple worksheet is a terrific way for students to explore the ways in which they have changed as they have grown up. There is also space for them to predict how they may change in the future. It is designed to be part of the Childhood: Then and Now unit.
Print out some current photos of your students for the ‘now’ section. You may also like to send a note home to ask parents to send in a copy of a baby photo. Students will draw what they predict they will look like in the ‘future’ section.
Learning goals
- We are learning to understand the differences and similarities between students' daily lives and life during their parents’ and grandparents’ childhoods.
- We are learning to understand how the past, present and future are signified by time, some of which have personal significance.
