Tiddalik the Frog - Simple and Complex Sentence Sorting
This Simple and Complex Sentence Sorting activity is based on the Dreamtime story Tiddalik the Frog and helps students develop their understanding of sentence structure. Students sort 50 themed sentences into simple (one main idea) and complex (main clause + dependent clause), building skills in grammar, comprehension, and literary analysis through culturally significant content.
Ideal for grammar mini-lessons, rotations, and literacy centres.
