Part Part Whole and Partitioning to 10 Assessment
This Part Part Whole and Partitioning to 10 Assessment assesses students’ understanding of partitioning collections and how related number facts can be used to solve addition and subtraction problems. This assessment also includes a verbal component for students to demonstrate their proficiency in using part part whole reasoning to mentally solve addition problems.

- We are learning to add and subtract one- and two-digit numbers, using a variety of strategies, e.g. partitioning, doubles, near doubles, bridging to 10 and rearranging and regrouping of numbers.
- We are learning to recall addition facts to 20 and apply to related subtraction facts using a range of strategies.
