Grid Drawing - Comparing Area & Using Grid Reference Systems
This resource can be used to measure area using MAB Blocks. Alternatively, it can be used to introduce students to Grid Reference Systems.
Comparing areas using metric units, such as counting the number of square centimetres required to cover two areas by overlaying the areas with a grid of centimetre squares. Use a grid reference system in a barrier game where students use the grid references to recreate an image.
