Google Earth Scavenger Hunt

Use this Google Earth Scavenger Hunt activity to develop your students’ understanding of history and geography within their community, Australia and abroad. Suitable for classroom or home learning, this task can be completed remotely with a partner or individually. Students work through the slides to find the answers to a range of questions about landmarks, cities, communities and cultures throughout the world. Your class will develop their ICT, research and mapping skills as they navigate Google Earth, take screenshots and use search engines. Students also have the opportunity to research their own town, suburb or city to find their place on the map. Finally, the class can set their own Google Earth challenges for a partner to solve.
