Formal and Informal Language Sort
This worksheet asks students to sort language; deciding whether the statements have been written in a formal or informal style. This worksheet could be used as an explicit teaching activity, independent activity, during literacy rotations or a guided language group. This resource is part of the Degrees of Language Formality Unit Plan.
