Fish Frenzy β Addition and Subtraction Story Mats
This resource is a fun and hands-on activity to use when your students are learning to solve basic addition and subtraction stories. Students will have fun creating number sentences and working out how many fish the sea creatures will eat?
There is both an addition set as well as a subtraction set of sea animal mats in this pack. Simply place mats into roll and wipe sleeves and have students create their own problems using a dice and the included fish counters. The mats can be used as independent task centre activities or within guided teaching groups.
