English Unit: Spelling Rules
This comprehensive and detailed unit plan is designed to support students when learning about common spelling generalisations, morphemic words families, common prefixes and suffixes and word origins. The unit contains a presentation that walks students through the common prefixes, suffixes, word origins and spelling rules associated with them, a student reference card, worksheets, games and a quiz. At the completion of the unit, there is an assessment for teachers to utilise to track student’s progress.
