Achievement Standards - Technologies
This printable resource includes "We are learning to..." achievement standard statements for Technologies from Foundation to Year 6. Aligned with the Australian Curriculum v9.0, it covers both Digital Technologies and Design and Technologies. Each outcome clearly communicates what students are expected to know and do across key content areas such as systems, data, food and fibre, material properties, and online safety. Ideal for attaching to student work samples, building portfolios, and displaying curriculum goals in the classroom.
Learning goals
- We are learning to recognise and explore digital systems.
- We are learning to identify and explore digital systems.
- We are learning to explore and describe a range of digital systems and their peripherals for different purposes.
- We are learning to investigate the main internal components of common digital systems and their functions.
- We are learning to represent data as objects, pictures and symbols.
- We are learning to represent data as pictures, symbols, numbers and words.
- We are learning to explore how to transmit different types of data between digital systems.
- We are learning to examine how digital systems form networks to transmit data.
- We are learning to recognise and explore patterns in data and represent data as pictures, symbols and diagrams.
- We are learning to collect, explore and sort data and use digital systems to present the data creatively.
- We are learning to identify and explore a range of digital systems with peripheral devices for different purposes and transmit different types of data.
- We are learning to collect, access and present different types of data using simple software to create information and solve problems.
- We are learning to examine the main components of digital systems and how they may connect together to form networks to transmit data.
