Stacking Surveys
In this worksheet, students complete a survey themselves, rating a number of items on a 1-5 Likert scale. This information can then be entered into a spreadsheet as a group or a class, and turned into a graph. This is most easily done by using the average function as shown on the worksheet.
This is the final assessment activity of a larger unit designed for Year 4 that helps students develop their statistical investigation skills by walking them through the necessary stages to plan, conduct and analyse a statistical investigation and then communicate their findings.

Modifications
If the averaging function is too difficult for your students, they can turn the data into a multiple column graph with 1 or 2 friends in a small group to compare their results to others.
