Sight Words - Pancake Flip Game
In this activity, students will read the high-frequency sight word as they pick it up with a spatula and place it in a frypan or onto a paper plate.
This game develops fine motor skills whilst reinforcing knowledge of sight words.
This game is perfectly suited to reluctant readers. Simply provide a selection of words a student must read and feed to the lady. Students can see a finite end to the game, which is encouraging for less confident readers.
Provide reward stickers upon completion of each set of cards.
