Quiz- Emotive Vocabulary
This quiz assesses students’ understanding of figurative and emotive language through a mix of true/false, multiple choice, and short answer questions. It covers key concepts including metaphor, simile, personification, hyperbole, idiom, imagery, and persuasive language. The quiz supports students in recognising literary devices and their effects, using accurate terminology to discuss texts, and building confidence in identifying vivid, expressive vocabulary in a range of written forms.

- We are learning to identify authors’ use of vivid, emotive vocabulary, such as metaphors, similes, personification, idioms, imagery and hyperbole.
