Predicting Exit Tickets

These exit tickets are a great formative assessment tool to use at the end of teaching the predicting comprehension strategy. They are a quick and easy tool for getting a snapshot of what students have understood in the content that has been taught.

Read part of a story to the class and have them complete the prediction ticket before leaving the class. The next day, complete the story and have them complete the 2nd exit ticket to show whether their prediction was correct.
