Position and Location Assessment

This assessment contains 2 parts. Students are required to demonstrate their understanding of positional language by drawing a picture which places items in the correct location. Part 2 of the assessment asks them to write some directions for helping the dog find his bone. This assessment is part of a larger Foundation- Position and Location unit of work.

Learning goals

  • We are learning to describe the position and location of objects in a familiar space, e.g. inside, underneath, on top of.
  • We are learning to use appropriate language to describe location.
