Night Sky Monthly Record Sheet

Students will record the features of the night sky every night for a month, recording the way the shape of the moon changes throughout the month.

 

This forms part of the Year 1 Earth and Space Sciences Unit - The Sky and Landscape.

Modifications

You could choose to allow each member of the class to take the worksheet home for one night in the month and record their observations.

 

Alternatively, you could take a photograph of the moon and record it as a class the following day.
