My Local Community - Presentation

This resource has been created to support the Year 3 Unit of Work- Local Community and Change. This PowerPoint supports this unit's fifth lesson, which explores how communities lived in the past. To begin, the PowerPoint reviews what a community is and guides students to think about what makes up their local community. They are then invited to think about continuities and changes in their local community, the reasons for these, and their effects. The PowerPoint also contains the Learning Intent, Success Criteria and checkout, visual supports, teacher notes, and prompts to help guide the lesson.
