Moving Sky Quiz
This worksheet is designed to be used as a piece of summative assessment for our Year 2 Earth and Space Sciences unit ‘Our Moving Sky’. In it, students match terms and definitions for key concepts of the unit. There is also a short answers section that deals with the seasons and an eclipse.
Learning goals
- We are learning to understand that the Sun is our source of light, that the Earth rotates on its axis and this causes changes such as night and day.
- We are learning to recognise Earth is a planet in the Solar System and identify patterns in the changing position of the sun, moon, planets and stars in the sky.
