Monster Time Mash Up - Elapsed Time
In this activity, students will determine the travel time between a given start and end time. There are several activities within this one resource, with inclusions for various extensions and assessment content.
Learning goals
- We are learning to use ‘am’ and ‘pm’ notation and solve simple time problems, e.g. calculating time spent at school, time spent travelling between two locations, determining arrival time with given departure time.
- We are learning to use ‘am’ and ‘pm’ notation and solve simple time problems including duration and converting between units of time e.g. 60 mins = 1 hour.
- We are learning to interpret and use timetables and itineraries to plan activities and calculate the duration of events and journeys.
