A Monster of a Time - Elapsed Time Activity - Determine Arrival Time
In this activity, students will determine arrival time, when given a departure time. Included are several options for using the activity in a variety of ways as well as extension options.

Learning goals
- We are learning to use ‘am’ and ‘pm’ notation and solve simple time problems including duration and converting between units of time e.g. 60 mins = 1 hour.
- We are learning to use ‘am’ and ‘pm’ notation and solve simple time problems, e.g. calculating time spent at school, time spent travelling between two locations, determining arrival time with given departure time.
- We are learning to interpret and use timetables and itineraries to plan activities and calculate the duration of events and journeys.
