Match the Initial Sound - Phonics Board Game
Match the Sound is a colourful phonics board game designed to help Foundation students practise identifying initial sounds. As students move along the game path, they land on familiar images (e.g. dog, apple, sun) and say the beginning sound. They then find and cover the corresponding lowercase letter in the centre grid. Featuring bright visuals, clear layout, and letter–sound correspondence, this hands-on game builds early phoneme–grapheme knowledge through fun and repetition.
