Labelling Match Up
This activity is a fun way for students to demonstrate their vocabulary over these 4 different scenarios:
- The farm
- The school
- Pirates
- Australian animals
Print and cut out the labels for students to place in the correct places. Requiring an understanding of reading simple tier 1 and tier 2 words, this task can also be used to provide an at a glance assessment of student vocabulary levels.
Use as an individual, small group or informal assessment piece.
