Lacing Shapes

This simple fine motor activity helps Foundation students recognise and name common 2D shapes while strengthening handโ€“eye coordination and lacing skills. The printable black-and-white shapes can be laminated and hole-punched around the edges, allowing students to practise threading wool, string, or laces through the outlines. Shapes included are: hexagon, triangle, circle, octagon, heart, square, rectangle, oval, pentagon, star, and diamond.
