Jump Strategy for Addition

Jump Strategy for Addition

These worksheets break down the Jump Strategy in easy to follow steps that assist students in how the strategy works. The worksheets build on student knowledge and progressively get more difficult. Diagrams and a 100 board are included to help scaffold student understandings with partitioning numbers and counting in tens. The worksheets could be used as an explicit teaching activity, independent activity, during maths rotations or a guided maths group.
