Home Reading – Social Story
The Home Reading social story explains the importance of reading at home every night and how it helps students become better readers. It covers how readers are chosen, the value of reading the same book more than once, strategies for tackling tricky words, and the benefits of discussing the story with parents or carers. The story also highlights the value of listening to books read aloud to build comprehension and vocabulary.
