Geometry Brush-up
In this worksheet, students review their knowledge of area and perimeter for regular 2D shapes. This was created to be a refresher, and formative assessment task for a year 5 geometry unit, to help you check your students’ understanding and identify those that might need extra support.
It is part of a larger unit designed to teach students enlargements and their properties. Students compare, create, and analyse the properties of shapes after enlargement and complete grid enlargements of drawings.
