Doing Your Homework - Social Story
The Doing Your Homework social story helps students understand the purpose and importance of homework. It explains that homework allows them to practise what they have learnt at school, build confidence, and reinforce key skills in subjects such as Maths, English, reading, and phonics. The story outlines routines for completing homework, encourages students to do it soon after school, and reassures them that it’s okay to have different homework from peers or to ask for help when needed.
