Diversity in my Community - Presentation
This resource has been created to support the Year 3 Unit of Work- Local Community and Change. This PowerPoint supports this unit's sixth lesson, which explores how communities lived in the past. To begin, the PowerPoint reviews what a community is and guides students to think about what groups make up their local community. They are then invited to consider and investigate how and why different groups have helped shape their community over time. The PowerPoint also contains the Learning Intent, Success Criteria and checkout, visual supports, teacher notes, and prompts to help guide the lesson.
