3D Object Identification Card
This assessment has been designed to align with the Australian Curriculum content descriptor, ‘Make models of three-dimensional objects and describe key features’ (Year 3). Students have the opportunity to make a model of a 3D shape using materials the teacher has provided and can either secure it on the top box or alternatively, take a photo and secure the photo of their 3D model. Students then name the object, describe its features, draw an example of the net they used to create it and write real life examples they know of.
Learning goals
- We are learning to create, recognise, compare and classify three-dimensional objects using key features.
