This presentation has been created to support you throughout the Year 1 HASS Geography Unit - What are places like?

Learning goals
- We are learning to recognise natural, managed and constructed features of places, their location, how they change and how they can be cared for.
- We are learning to understand the weather and seasons of places and the ways in which different cultural groups, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples, describe them.
- We are learning to identify activities in our local place on a map, e.g. medical, police, waste management, and suggesting the reasons for their location.
