The Balancing Act
This series of worksheets has been created to assist students to progress from arithmetic to algebraic thinking. For this to happen, students must understand equivalence. Students will use their problem-solving skills to answer equations involving addition and subtraction. Students are asked to view each number sentence and write the correct missing number in each box to make both sides of the equation balanced.
